Scope of these terms
“JobRoute” means the UK-operated JobRoute service and its operator. JobRoute is not presently incorporated as a limited company. “Customer” means the person or business obtaining the service for trade or business purposes. “Caller” means a person whose call is handled through a customer's JobRoute setup.
These terms are general site and service terms. Details accepted during checkout, onboarding, an order form or another written agreement form part of the arrangement. If a specific written term conflicts with this general page, the specific written term takes priority for that service.
By ordering or using the service, the customer confirms that they are acting for business or trade purposes and have authority to configure call handling for the relevant number and business.
The JobRoute service
JobRoute provides configurable AI-assisted call handling for business enquiries.
Depending on the selected setup, JobRoute may provide a telephone number or call-routing endpoint, answer forwarded calls in the business name, ask configured questions, generate a transcript or structured summary, flag possible urgency and deliver information by portal, SMS or email.
Available features can depend on the customer's plan, telephone network, number, provider availability and agreed configuration. The customer keeps responsibility for its published number, network relationship, call-forwarding settings and response to each enquiry.
JobRoute is a call-handling and information service. Unless expressly agreed in writing, it does not itself carry out trade work, provide quotations, guarantee appointments, enter contracts with callers or provide professional trade or safety advice.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must:
- provide accurate business name, services, coverage area, hours, questions, contact details and escalation instructions;
- have authority to use and forward the relevant telephone number;
- test the receptionist before relying on it for live customer calls;
- review call summaries and confirm important details directly with the caller before quoting, booking or attending;
- keep account access, connected email and telephone accounts secure;
- provide any caller notice required for AI, recording or transcription;
- use an appropriate human or emergency process where a call may involve immediate danger; and
- comply with applicable law, professional duties and network-provider terms.
The customer should not instruct JobRoute to collect sensitive personal information unless it is necessary, lawful and appropriate for the service being provided.
AI limitations and emergencies
AI voice systems can pause, repeat, mishear or misunderstand a caller, especially with background noise, unclear speech, specialist terms, unusual names or poor telephone connections. Transcripts and summaries may contain omissions or errors.
A JobRoute urgency flag is an automated indicator, not a diagnosis, professional assessment or guarantee that an emergency has been identified. The customer remains responsible for checking and responding to enquiries.
Plans, payment and ordering
JobRoute offers a managed website plan and AI receptionist plans based on monthly call allowance. The price and details shown at the point of order should be checked before purchase.
£59 per month
The website plan begins after the customer approves the first version and includes the website, hosting and ongoing care.
£49 per month
Up to 50 calls within the stated monthly plan allowance.
£99 per month
Up to 150 calls within the stated monthly plan allowance.
£199 per month
Up to 300 calls within the stated monthly plan allowance.
Fair usage applies
Exceptional usage or patterns outside ordinary business call handling may require discussion or a different arrangement.
Unless an order says otherwise, prices are stated in pounds sterling. Any applicable tax, setup item, usage definition, excess-use treatment, billing frequency, renewal and cancellation arrangement should be shown at checkout or confirmed in writing before the order is completed.
Where Stripe checkout is offered, Stripe processes payment information under its own terms. JobRoute may receive billing details, payment status and transaction references needed to administer the account.
AI Receptionist subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Customers can update their payment method or cancel through the secure billing area in the JobRoute portal. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless JobRoute confirms otherwise in writing.
If payment fails or is reversed, JobRoute may ask the customer to update payment or pause the paid service until the account is resolved. JobRoute will not invent an additional fee that was not disclosed or agreed.
Fair usage
Plan allowances are intended for ordinary inbound business enquiries of a reasonable duration. Fair usage protects service quality and keeps a call-volume plan workable for customers with normal trade-business call patterns.
Automated test traffic, repeated looping calls, misuse, unusually long calls, bulk campaigns, outbound campaigns or use materially different from the agreed inbound receptionist purpose may fall outside fair use. JobRoute may contact the customer to understand the pattern and discuss configuration, a suitable plan or a written usage arrangement.
The applicable definition of a counted call and any treatment of usage above the allowance should be the one disclosed at the point of order or agreed with the customer. JobRoute does not promise on this page that every type of call will be free, excluded or handled after the allowance has been reached.
Availability and service changes
JobRoute aims to provide a useful service, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular answer time, perfect transcription, successful SMS or email delivery, or that every caller will complete a conversation.
Availability can be affected by the customer's mobile or telephone network, call-forwarding setup, caller connection, third-party providers, maintenance, internet infrastructure and events outside JobRoute's reasonable control.
Features, voices or providers may change to maintain or improve the service. A material change to an agreed paid service should be explained to affected customers through an appropriate account or contact channel.
Acceptable use
The service must not be used to:
- break the law or another person's rights;
- mislead callers about the business or services offered;
- impersonate another business without authority;
- conduct spam, nuisance, abusive or fraudulent calling;
- collect information that is excessive or unlawfully discriminatory;
- probe, disrupt, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to JobRoute;
- introduce malicious code or interfere with other customers; or
- use AI output as a substitute for required emergency or professional judgment.
Data, privacy and providers
Personal information is handled as described in the privacy notice. Customers must read that notice and provide their callers with any information required in their own circumstances.
JobRoute may depend on Retell AI, Twilio, OpenAI, Titan email, Stripe and hosting or database infrastructure providers for relevant parts of the service. Provider availability and terms can affect a feature. More detail is available on the security and data handling page.
JobRoute owns or licenses its website, brand, software, service design and documentation. The customer retains rights in its own business information and remains responsible for having the right to provide it. No transfer of intellectual-property ownership is implied by using the service.
Responsibility and limits
JobRoute does not guarantee that a call will become a lead, booking, customer or particular amount of revenue. Examples of potential missed work are illustrations, not earnings promises.
The customer is responsible for verifying enquiry details, deciding whether to accept work, setting prices, arranging visits and carrying out services safely and lawfully. JobRoute is responsible for providing the agreed service with reasonable care, subject to the stated limitations and dependencies.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional liability limits or service credits must be set out in the customer's accepted order or written agreement; none are invented by this general page.
Ending or suspending service
AI Receptionist plans renew monthly and may be cancelled through the secure billing area. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Any different timing for another service is governed by the arrangement shown at checkout or confirmed in the customer's order.
JobRoute may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful or harmful use, unpaid service, provider restriction or serious breach of these terms. Where practical, JobRoute will explain what is required to restore service.
Ending the service does not automatically erase information that must be kept for billing, legal claims, security or other lawful purposes. The privacy notice explains the general retention approach and data-request process.
Contact, governing law and updates
JobRoute is operated in the United Kingdom. Unless a customer agreement states otherwise, these general terms and disputes relating to them are intended to be governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
Questions or notices can be sent to hello@jobroute.co.uk. JobRoute may update these terms as the service develops. A material update will be reflected by changing the date on this page and, where appropriate, notifying affected customers.
