About JobRoute

Built for the calls that arrive while the work is happening.

JobRoute is an AI receptionist service for busy UK trades. It helps answer incoming calls, collect the details that matter and send a clear summary to the business — without asking the tradesperson to stop mid-job.

  • Designed around practical trade enquiries
  • Keeps the business in control of its call handling
  • Operated in the UK with a clear point of contact

Why JobRoute exists

A ringing phone is often a new job, but the moment it rings is rarely convenient.

Plumbers, electricians, heating engineers, roofers and builders spend their working day driving, meeting customers or using both hands on a job. Letting a call reach voicemail can mean calling back after the customer has already found someone else.

JobRoute was built to close that gap. It gives callers a prompt, professional response and gives the trade business a useful enquiry summary to act on when it is safe and practical to do so.

What the service does

JobRoute is focused on useful call handling rather than pretending to replace trade expertise.

01

Answers

Calls forwarded to JobRoute can be answered around the clock in the customer business's name.

02

Qualifies

The receptionist asks configured questions about the caller, the job, location, urgency and preferred follow-up.

03

Summarises

Key details can be organised into a concise summary for the trade business to review.

04

Routes

The summary can be delivered through the channels configured for that customer, such as SMS or email.

JobRoute is not an emergency service and does not replace the judgment of a qualified tradesperson. The customer business decides its services, coverage area, questions and follow-up process.

How JobRoute operates

Clear ownership and honest boundaries matter when a service handles customer calls.

JobRoute is currently operated in the United Kingdom and is not presently incorporated as a limited company. We do not publish a company number, certification or office address that does not exist.

The service uses specialist providers to deliver telephony, AI voice processing, messaging, email and, where offered, payments. More detail is available in our privacy notice and on our security page.

Our working principles

Be useful, not theatrical

A natural voice matters, but an accurate name, postcode and job description matter more.

Keep people in control

Each business decides when calls are forwarded and how its receptionist should handle them.

Say where AI stops

AI can mishear or misunderstand. Summaries should be checked and safety-critical decisions stay with people.

Earn trust through clarity

Pricing, data use, service limits and third-party providers should be explained in plain English.
