Our approach
Security is treated as an operating responsibility, not a one-off statement.
JobRoute aims to collect and expose only the information needed to answer calls, configure a receptionist, deliver useful summaries, support customers and operate the service. Safeguards are selected in proportion to the type of information and the function being used.
The public website, customer portal, administrative tools, telephony, AI processing, messaging and email are separate parts of the service. Each part has different access requirements and relies on different providers.
How information moves
A call can pass through several specialist services before the trade business receives its summary.
Caller to phone network
A customer rings the trade business and the call may be forwarded to a JobRoute-connected number through telephony infrastructure.
Phone network to voice AI
Audio and call metadata may be passed to the configured voice agent so it can hear, respond and collect relevant details.
Conversation to summary
Spoken information may be transcribed or structured into fields such as name, number, postcode, issue and urgency.
Summary to the business
The result may be stored in an access-controlled account area and delivered by a configured channel such as SMS or email.
The exact flow depends on the customer's setup. The privacy notice explains the categories of information and purposes in more detail.
Practical safeguards
Current service design includes measures such as:
- sign-in controls for customer and administrative areas rather than publishing account information on public pages;
- HTTPS for the public JobRoute website and encrypted network connections where supported by the relevant service provider;
- hosted runtime settings for service credentials rather than intentionally placing them in public page content;
- limiting operational access to the people and providers that need it to deliver, support, bill or protect the service;
- validation and authentication checks around service routes that receive account, telephony or AI events; and
- keeping operational records only while they are needed for service, support, security, disputes or legal obligations.
Safeguards and provider arrangements can change as the service develops. Contact JobRoute for information relevant to a particular customer configuration.
AI accuracy and safety boundaries
AI voice systems can mishear names, addresses, accents, background noise or technical descriptions. A summary is a useful handover, not a guaranteed verbatim or error-free record. Customer businesses should check the information before relying on it for a quote, visit or other decision.
JobRoute may flag words associated with urgency, but that does not amount to professional diagnosis, emergency triage or safety advice. The service must not be the only route for situations involving an immediate threat to life, safety or property.
Specialist service providers
Depending on the feature and customer configuration, JobRoute may use Retell AI for conversational voice processing, Twilio for telephony and SMS, OpenAI for configured AI processing, Titan for email, Stripe for payment processing, and website or database infrastructure providers for hosting.
These providers operate their own systems and security programmes. JobRoute does not claim that every provider stores information only in the UK or that JobRoute holds a particular provider certification. Contact hello@jobroute.co.uk for the current providers relevant to your setup.
Report a security concern
Email hello@jobroute.co.uk with the subject “JobRoute security report”. Include a concise description, the affected page or service and a safe way to contact you. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unrelated caller information.
If you believe an account is at risk, stop forwarding calls where practical, secure the connected email or sign-in account and contact JobRoute.
For requests about access, correction or deletion of personal information, use the process in the privacy notice.
